itinerary of this trip .

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah –  Ouarzazate – Dadés Valley

Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:30  in the morning, and depart to the High Atlas, subrange of moroccan Atlas mountains,  going through Tizi N´Tichka port with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Berber small villages that camouflage in the landscape. Then we continue south to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular  stage, including Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc Free time for lunch in town. Then we continue to Ouarzazate also known as “The gate of the desert” that in berber language means “noiseless or without confusion”. Here we´ll see the Taourirt kasbah, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco.The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove; a beautiful place to contemplate more than 700.000 palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area.  In this Valley damascenes roses are raised for cosmetic use such as the valued rosewater. The Rose Festival is held here annually in May, it is an important moussem for Moroccan culture. Finally we reach the Dades valley dinner and slep at hotel.

 

Day 2: Dades valley  – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga  Desert

After breakfast we´ll enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Dadées Valley from one strategic lookout in the mountains then we start driving  along the road of 1000 Kasbahs to the oasis of Tinghir and Todra gorges; where we  will have time to walk between  canyons of about 300m high; a preferred place of mountain climbers and adventurers. Afterwards we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga  Desert and we will have time for lunch in Tinjdad or Touroug, depending on your hunger-meter. After that, we will continue our road towards Erfoud the last  bigst town before the Sahara desert; famous for dates market and fossil factories. After a quick stop in the city   we  continue our road to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, a small offroad takes you to the edge of the golden dunes where camels are waiting for you, the luggage will be loaded in an 4×4 car and transported to the camp, and you can enjoy a beautiful camel ride for 1 Hour over the sand dunes and watch a majestic sahara sunset on your way to the camp. After reaching your destination, you will be greated with tea and smiles. You will be shown to your beautiful comfortable private tents equipped with ensuite bathrooms and showers to relax and settle before dinner time. After a delicious meal, fire will be lit and a festive ambiance takes over with musical plays by the staff and cameleers under the starry night of the desert .

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley- Ouarzazate

After breakfast in your hotel  We will travel to ouarzazate  through Rissani to visit  weekly tradicional market if we are lucky to be  here  in one of the market days .afterwards we drive through arid pre desertic area where we will see acacia typical trees of this landscapes .on the way to the draa valley the we will make some stops to admire the beautiful views of the river that gives name to the valley .its the longest river in morocco , after we continues towards ouarzazate crossing the anti atlas we will have time for lunch in nkoub village and afternoon we continue our journey to Ouarzazate dinner and overnight in Hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Taourirt Kasbah – Marrakech

After breakfast in your hotel we will drive to  visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and the cinema film  studios. After we Head off to the village of Merzgane and the village of Ighrem. Lunch break. Todarte and way back to Marrakech across Tizi-n-Tichka’s pass. Making stops on the way to enjoy the super views of this mauntains and authentic berber villages ,lunch in restaurant in the middle of the atlas .than we will continue to Marrakech arrival in the afternoon drop up at your Riad/Hotel.end of our service
