itinerary of this trip .

day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas –- Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – merzouga desert

We will leave the riad at 7:00am and drive south through the High Atlas via Tizi-n-Tichka, the highest mountain pass at 2,260 meters/7,415 feet, stopping along the way to enjoy the panoramic views.
Turning off onto a smaller road, and surrounded by some spectacular scenery of a diverse colours, we will soon reach to the  Berber villages with families living in adobe houses. Eventually we will arrive at the ancient Ait Benhaddou village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is also a famous location where several movies such as Gladiator, Obelix, Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz, have been filmed here. After we continuing our journey to Ouarzazate, known as the great door to the desert and the starting point of many expeditions. After we  cross the Anti Atlas Mountains  and we continuing our journey through the dry and cool, desert-like landscape of the Draa Valley. We will make several stops along the way, taking our time to enjoy the valley
This river, bearing the same name as the valley, is the longest river in Morocco.we arrive to Nkoub village here we will have Lunch before arrive to merzouga desert. After lunch  we continue to Rissani, which is one of the holiest towns in Morocco as the actual dynasty ruling Morocco ‘’ The Alaouites ‘’ is originated here, and its founder is buried locally. Rissani is also famous as a starting point of the ancient caravan roads crossing the Sahara desert all the way to Tomboctou.
From here, we will cross some rocky terrain all the way to Merzouga desert, where our camel caravan will be waiting for us. Enjoy a camel ride over Erg Chebbi dunes to watch an amazing sunset, before we return to our Sahara desert camp, nestled in the middle of nowhere. After dinner we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.overnight in berber tent.

Day 2: Erg chebbi –Dades valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi  in Merzouga which is one of the best moments of this tour, after  you will have breakfast in the camp,  and go back either on camels or by 4×4 leaving the dunes behind. after  we  Head to tinghir here we will have opportunity to see toudra valley and the route of 1000 kasbahs, exploring the ksours  drive to the Dades Valley,  Rose Valley a famous rose plantation. Visit one of the rose growers’ cooperatives and discover how the workers mix distilled rose water to create rose scents.
 We Continue along the kasbahs to Ouarzazate, known as the « door of the Sahara » and for the movies big settings , take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the Atlas Mountains .Arrive to Marrakech late afternoon drop up at your Riad/Hotel End of our service.
